Recently, a critical mass of research has provided what might be the most basic and irrefutable argument in favor of happiness: Happiness and good health go hand-in-hand. Indeed, scientific studies have been finding that happiness can make our hearts healthier, our immune systems stronger, and our lives longer. Several of the studies cited below suggest that happiness causes better health; others suggest only that the two are correlated—perhaps good health causes happiness but not the other way around. Happiness and health may indeed be a virtuous circle, but researchers are still trying to untangle their relationship.

We like to think our weekly color emails make people happier...this is our desire and wish for all who receive them.

Happiness is researched to do these six things for your life:

This weeks color email is brought to you from Mary Kae 


This last week I went into the bank to open a new account after having the same account for 17 years, and all my personal and professional funds are there. They wanted my business license, my tax return and proof of my ownership to open a business account. Per them this is a new law. Instead of being grateful that they were watching my funds and not allowing others to get them easily, I FLIPPED OUT!

I did apologize for my outburst, but not in a genuine way! I am writing this for my topic this week mainly because I didn't do the next right thing.  They were only trying to follow the law, and all I could do was FLIP OUT because I have been a customer for 17 years and was frustrated that they couldn't just open a simple savings/checking account NOT a line of credit? 

My take away from this... Work harder to be in the present and stay calm in a frustrating situation. 

The chapter below from my Friend Dr. Harry Cohen reminded me...When you screw up, quickly do the NEXT right thing NOW.
 
For any of you who have experienced such outbursts, I share this chapter from My friend Dr. Harry Cohen. Chapter 25 in his book is dedicated to this topic.

Being in the present moment can be difficult and effortless.
 
Being present means being aware of what's going on inside and around us.
 
You hear things, you think things, you feel things, you see things, you smell things...
 
YOU have the ultimate freedom of choice...
 
You can say or do anything you want...including nothing
 
Doing the next right thing is the goal...PERIOD!
 
If you don't like the outcome of the thing you just did, or the thing you just said, do the next right thing now.
 
If you make a mistake, do the next right thing now.
 
In one of my previous chapters, I mentioned the importance of identity, I practice thinking of myself, as a wise person. I ask myself...
 
What would a wise person do now!
